CBN-LA Established in 1968 in the living room of Dr. Betty Smith Williams. Our living legend. Dr. Smith-Williams along with others at the time wanted to create a forum in which black nurses could come together to support each other and the community at large. She not only started locally but shortly after help found the National Black Nurses Association. We salute her and the others who paved the way for us all.
